Back in 2015, we launched our first social networks calendar. We were so excited to bring a brand-new method of planning and scheduling to Buffer, and it proved to be a favorite feature amongst customers.Since then, Buffer has
changed a lot. We have actually re-designed our interface and included new preparation features, like Stories Scheduling, Campaigns, and Hashtag Manager. Inevitably, our calendar began to feel a little outdated and out-of-sync with the rest of Buffer. It even began residing on an entirely separate codebase, that made it challenging for engineers to make updates and fixes.What began as a peaceful call for improvements became a chorus of feedback from customers. Let’s take a more detailed look!Total preparation visibility The new calendar sits within
your publishing control panel and you can access it from the menu on the left-hand side of the dashboard. You can pick between a weekly or regular monthly view.The weekly view reveals you the essential information of each post you have actually scheduled for the week; the channel to which it is scheduled, a preview of the text, and a thumbnail of your image.
